Raven's Nest Mulling Spices & Mixes
The Story Behind Raven's Original Gourmet Products...
Raven's Nest Specialties, home of Raven's Original Mulling Spices and other gourmet products,, is a family-owned business that was started over 30 years ago by my mother, Raven. For as long as I can remember, Mom has had a passion for making things. She was always painting, sewing, cooking and creating handmade gifts for her friends and family. Her love of cooking was inspired by her father who was a chef. Naturally, the kitchen became the heart of her home and continues to be a special gathering place for sharing good food with friends and family. It was only a matter of time before Mom followed her heart and turned her passion for creating and cooking into her own gourmet food and gift business.
Raven, (affectionately nicknamed by my dad for her long black hair) designed her logo to be symbolic of her home, because that’s where it all began – at home in her nest. While the logo is symbolic of Raven’s home, the three eggs in the nest represent her three daughters.
Raven's Original award-winning mulling spices, unique spice blends, and charming gifts have stood the test of time. Our products paired with heartfelt sentiments and handmade appeal make the perfect gift! It is my hope that the pride I have in my mother’s accomplishments shines through in my commitment to carry on her legacy of offering handmade gifts and gourmet foods that will become a part of your family traditions each year.
Our products are truly from our nest to yours!

Raven's
Original Garden Party Pasta
1 lb. Rotini Garden Pasta, cooked

1 tsp. celery seed
1 qt. favorite ranch dressing
2 cups broccoli crowns & stems, cut in small pieces
1 pkg. Raven's Original Garden Party Dip
½ cup mayonnaise
Mix ½ qt. of the ranch dressing with all other ingredients. Refrigerate. Before
serving, add the rest of the ranch dressing. Note: If you add all of the ranch
dressing at first, the pasta will absorb the moisture in the dressing, causing
the pasta to become stiff and the spices won't release as well. If it is too
thick, add a little milk.
